New Computer Center Position:
HELP DESK TECH

CSi Computers has an exciting new opening for a full-time Computer-Internet Help Desk Tech, to provide first level support for our Computer customers.

Strong knowledge in use of computers, voicemail, email, and Internet is needed. Must be familiar with components and operations of PCs, Operating systems, and common computer/Internet related problems.

Job Description:
Help Desk Tech will work directly with clients to resolve or diagnose common problems, and to route calls to appropriate support staff for additional issue resolution.
Responsibilities include basic troubleshooting of Cable Modem High Speed Internet and Phone service, resolution of basic email and web related issues, initial phone screening of home and business computer issues. Help Desk Tech will demonstrate Computers, Internet & Phone services. Local “Help Desk” will coordinate with the 24x7 Help Desk for follow-up of after hours questions. CSi Computers is located at Historic Franklin in Jamestown, ND. Full-time position, 8am to 5pm, Monday – Friday.

Job Requirements:
Enjoy working directly with people
High School graduate required, technical school graduate or previous technical job experience desired.
Current, valid motor vehicle license with excellent driving record.
Able to use Windows and very familiar with use of computers and email.
Good reading, verbal, and comprehensive skills
Good understanding of basic electronics
Presentable and pleasant phone voice
Enjoy television, computers, and technology
Willing to live within the service area of the Jamestown CSi Cable network
Curious and willing to ask questions

Must be familiar with components & operation of PCs, Operating systems, Internet, EMAIL, and networks. Applicants must have good customer service skills. Printer service and repair skills is a Plus! Job Description:

Responsibilities include set-up of Cable Modem Internet & Digital Phone service to homes and business, network wire installation & termination, building and troubleshooting home and business PCs, repairs of a variety of brands of computers, virus removal and data recovery, loading of software applications. Service and repair of laser and bubblejet printers. Main repair center located in Jamestown, ND.

Job Requirements:

Enjoy working directly with people
High School graduate required, technical school graduate (or previous technical job experience) required.
Certifications or previous computer service experience necessary.
Current, valid motor vehicle license with excellent driving record.
Able to use Windows and very familiar with use of computers and email.
Comfortable with working on ladders
Able to lift and carry 40 pounds.
Good reading, verbal, and comprehensive skills
Good understanding of basic electronics
Enjoy television and computers
Willing to live within the service area of the Jamestown cable TV system

demonstrate Computers, software, & Internet services
research of products and pricing - assist in preparation of bids for customers

Desired Qualifications:
High School graduate or equivalent
medium to strong computer, email, & Internet experience - enjoy television
office equipment experience - fax, copiers, word processing
good at 10 digit keypad entry
fast learner, able to handle a variety of tasks
good communication skills
good clerical skills
pleasant phone voice
enjoy customer interaction, on the phone & in-person
reside in CSi Jamestown cable service area
non-smoker
website, graphic, accounting, or computer repair experience a plus

Starting Compensation: wage depending on qualifications.
Hours: 40hrs/week 8am-5pm M-F . Other benefits (paid vacation, health/dental insurance, cable/internet service) available after 90 days.
